“Music Video 1”
I used to do lots and lots of music videos. They were mostly a grind, but there was a lot of freedom. I can recall more than one director (after they trusted my judgement) saying over the phone: “Just make up a bunch of cool @#*%. And show the singer a lot”.
The music video business is crazy!
