“Crosswalk”
Every working actor since Brando knows they can get the audiences attention by doing just a bit of business with their hands. That was the idea behind this clever bit of misdirection.
Once in a while we can actually plan it like a bank heist: this simple scene was cooked up to be shot quickly, with input from the Director, myself, the AD’s, and locations. Usually this is just a jumping off point for the DP. Another angle may look better day of.
